DMB Announces April John Paul Jones Shows Initiative for the Charlottesville Music Resource Center
Please join the Dave Matthews Band initiative to support the Charlottesville Music Resource Center in honor of LeRoi Moore, by requesting VIP Packages for the John Paul Jones Arena shows in Charlottesville on April 17 and 18, 2009. The proceeds created from the sale of these VIP packages, along with a donation from the Bama Works Fund, will be contributed by DMB to the Music Resource Center.
Your VIP package includes your concert ticket, early entrance, access to an exclusive party area with a complimentary gourmet buffet and beverages and a limited-edition, souvenir laminated pass. VIP Packages are available through the Warehouse, the official fan association and are $250.00 per person (plus applicable convenience fees).
Warehouse Ticketing Request Period Extension

We will be extending the Warehouse ticketing request period for concert tickets, VIP Packages, hotel tickets and Premier Parking passes through midnight on Monday, January 5, 2009 for all events with the exception of the April 14, 2009 Madison Square Garden show which will close on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

DMBlive and Previously Unreleased Shows Available for Download!

We are excited to announce DMBlive, the new home for all Dave Matthews Band Music & Media! To celebrate the launch of DMBlive, we are offering 3 previously unreleased shows (more coming soon!) which have been digitally mastered and are now available as digital downloads. Every format is available as a full album; singles tracks are available in 128 and 256 format. All digital downloads are iPod compatible (FLACs must be converted to MP3s before transferring to iPods).
DMBlive is the beginning of a new era for us and we hope that fans are excited about the opportunity to obtain mastered live shows. Features of DMB include:

Dave Matthews Band Announces Album Release and Spring Dates of the 2009 Tour!

We are excited to bring you the first Dave Matthews Band tour dates of 2009. On April 14th, Dave Matthews Band returns with its first studio album in four years – and they’ll celebrate with a show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden that evening. The MSG show will be followed by 16 additional US spring dates, including a stop at the 40th Annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 26, 2009. Along the way, Dave Matthews Band fans will be treated to the group’s first-ever live performances of songs from the new yet-to-be titled album. Joining the group on the road this spring will be Tim Reynolds on guitar, Rashawn Ross on trumpet and Jeff Coffin on saxophone.
Tickets may be requested at this time through the Warehouse, the official Dave Matthews Band fan association. The Warehouse Ticketing Request Period is now open and is scheduled to close on January 4, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Warehouse request period is not first-come, first-serve, the order in which your request is received does not matter. Warehouse confirmations for the Nashville show will be issued by Tuesday, January 13, 2009; confirmations for all other shows will be issued by the end of the day on Thursday, January 15, 2009. New for the 2009 tour, we are pleased to announce that Warehouse members may request up to 4 tickets per show.

Emails containing download redemption codes for the free DMB digital album, Live Trax 2008, were sent on November 13, 2008! If you purchased multiple tickets, you will receive multiple codes in the email which may be shared with your friends and family members who attended the show with you.
Live Trax 2008 will be available for purchase on iTunes (US/Canada) in January 2009.

LEROI MOORE 1961-2008

We are deeply saddened that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. LeRoi had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program.
